Our Passion
Our team is passionate about creating a better world for animals and the people who love them. We collaborate with local authorities, volunteers, and the community to ensure that every animal gets the care and attention they deserve.
The Trust was originally established to help rescue horses, especially Post Office horses, after WW2. In 1978, the first "Deed of Trust" was drawn up with the objective of rescuing, not only the horses, but any animal that has needed our help. We also try to help small groups and individuals who sometimes become overwhelmed with the amount of animals who need help. We help by providing access to veterinary care, fostering or rehoming and even by helping with Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) of cats.
Our Mission
At the Animal Trust Fund, our mission is to provide a safe and loving environment for animals in need. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance, and we work tirelessly to make that a reality. Through our rescue, rehoming, and trap, neuter, return programmes; as well as education, we strive to create a community where all animals are valued and cared for.
The Animal Hospital, Tallaght
The ATF are proud to have a long running connection with the Animal Hospital, Tallaght whose help and support has been invaluable to us . they go above and beyond to help us and the animal in our care. We also deal with other veterinary clinics around the country.
